MERRY CHRISTMAS

"''Sunday night we had a candle light service and a ""Birthday"" party for our """Savior""Jesus Christ"". We had ice cream and cake to top it off but really the greatest part was the fellowship within the church, the play presented by the children and just good old fashion, down to earth chatter among the church members and the children.
Monday, I looked around and listened to people that are complaining because the church did not do enough for them while others received more attention. Jesus tells us when we give money to the Lord at church, the assistance is given based on the needs of the individual and this decision is made by the church members, Pastor or Deacon.
If we have the Lord Jesus Christ as ""OUR SAVIOR" What more would we need.
The ""Wants and ""The Needs" seem to take preference when making decisions as to whom gets what.
Do we as a people and a nation constantly want more than we really need or can it be that we are greedy and want anything and everything we can get that is free and it makes us think we are entitled to the ""Wants"" instead of take what we just ""Need"" and leave some for others.
Do we need anything or deserve anything? Jesus tells us we are sinners and we deserve nothing but ""DEATH"" but his ""GIFT " to mankind on the ""CROSS at ""Cavalry'' is more than we need and most certainly not deserved, but """We want more"" Regardless.
We have a home and bed to sleep in, food on the table, clothes to wear, a little money in our pockets and are in good health. The only thing left that I would want under these circumstances is a place (church) or building to pray and ""Worship" Jesus Christ" and a Bible if I have one.
Be ""HUMBLE" and think about the millions around the world that do not even have the opportunity to even ask for what they ""Want or Need", They just make things do, the best way they can and ask GOD for help.

CHRISTMAS DAY---It is all about the Birthday of Jesus Christ---Let us make it his ""SPECIAL DAY" not our day or an XMAS day.
