OBAMA GUN BAN---- James Walls - Google+

I grew up in a country home where guns were used by my father after WWII to place food on the table as many folks do today. Many folks are poor but have a gun to hunt and provide meat and lower their grocery bills. Fishing is used the same way in order to survive or to eat. There is going to be a day coming when weapons will be the difference between feeding your family or them starving. How about protecting your family from those that will attempt to take the food.
I grew up in a home with 4-5 guns in plain sight in a wall rack on the living room wall. My Dad had his guns fully loaded at all times and they were completely off limits to all children or adults. We were not allowed to dust them off. A finger or hand print on one of the guns got you a very severe whipping by Dad. The safety's were always engaged and the gun rack was high enough, not be reached by children. I am not sure if a shell was loaded in the chamber or not. There was also a pistol in Dad's night stand in the bed room which was off limits to us nine kids.   Some may ask a question, did any of you kids every get one of the guns down from the wall rack and the answer to that question is NO. Discipline was the name of the game in our home and you did not try or push the envelope to see what you could get away with---WE KNEW---NOTHING. As we got older than Dad would take the boys out hunting with him and later on he would trust us if we were trustworthy.

People whom live in the country, a gun is a way of life and is needed for food, for protection from the wildlife, use to provide food and to protect our homes and family from those two legged wild creatures that like to roam in the dark. Law Enforcement in the country is provided by a roving County Sheriff Patrol or an occasional State Police Patrol. At times it may take as long as thirty minutes for a Police Patrol to respond to a call provided they are not too busy. Our First Responders live within the communities and are private citizen volunteers with the local Fire Department sub stations and use their own privately owned vehicles to respond to a 911 emergency call until a Rescue Vehicle arrives. The criminal elements that wish to attempt a break in or to steal from a resident within the communities will usually get shot and they know that country folks have guns and will use them to protect their communities, not only their homes but the homes and families of their neighbors. Many times Neighborhood Watch Signs will be displayed and these signs are a Warning to the criminals and these signs are in fact legally accepted and authorized by the County Law Enforcement Agency.

Folks that live in the big cities have the luxury to step outside of their homes into the street and wave down a Policeman or Police car to help protect them or can even yell loud enough and maybe one will hear you and rush to your rescue. That is the life style that some folks choose because of fear to live within nature or other reasons.
We the people that have decided to live in the country do carry on the traditions enjoyed by our ancestors that first settled this great country. We love the beauty of GODS nature, the animals, the peace, the quiet, the freedom and great neighbors that believe and live as we do. We raise our children to believe in the Great Wonders that GOD created, to respect nature, to respect the life of the wildlife that we live with, to respect other folks and most importantly we can raise our children free from gang violence, drugs and the temptations posed by what some folks will consider civilization.
We for the most part are GOD fearing people that takes care of our people within our communities, we cooperate with Law Enforcement to weed out the unsavory characters that may infiltrate our way of living and those that chose to rob maim, destroy and kill.
Guns has been a part of our lives for many centuries and many of our guns are very old in great condition and are treasured as family heirlooms and part of our heritage to be passed down to those selected by the parents or guardians with our families. Many of these people you city slickers call REDNECKS, not because we hate black people but because we work in the sun with our black neighbors and get a blistered neck. Some even wore Red Handkerchiefs around their necks.
Many of our homes are family farms that helps feed this nation and these homes are about as old as America. Our extended family members, children, grand kids, grandparent's, in--laws and other relatives all live within our communities.
This is our way of life, we chose to live as GOD would want us to live---We love, we serve in our military and we also die to protect our country .Guns has helped us to keep our life styles--Guns has helped us to fight and preserve our country and its freedoms. Guns has helped us to feed our families---Guns has helped us to protect our property, our homes, our families.

WE WILL NOT GIVE THEM UP PERIOD
